Casey Weems is a native of Orlando, Florida and is currently a Senior BFA Musical Theatre student at Western Carolina University in the beautiful Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.
SURPRISE! Casey had the unexpected honor of joining Neil Berg and the cast of 100 Years of Broadway onstage for their finale number, Seasons of Love! Thank you Neil for an experience I will never forget!
NEXT UP! Casey will be returning to the Bigfork Summer Playhouse as Lola in Damn Yankees, after which she and her fellow cast mate (and boyfriend,) Patrick Detloff, will begin touring Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma with the National Theatre for Children!
Casey made her Summer Stock debut at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse in Bigfork, Montana in 2011, playing a myriad of roles including the "Red Girl" in the 60's mod-musical SHOUT!, "Linda" in The Wedding Singer, a "Pinkette" and Rehearsal Dance Captain in Happy Days! the Musical and a "Hot Box Girl" in Guys and Dolls.
Last Spring she had the honor of playing her dream role, Kate/Lilli Vanessi in Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate under the direction of famed Broadway actor, Terrence Mann at Western Carolina University.

Favorite past credits include Sheila in A Chorus Line, directed by Charlotte d'Amboise, Jean McCormack in Plaza Suite, Lola in Damn Yankees, Babette in Beauty and the Beast and Mayzie LaBird in Seussical the Musical.
In her "free time" Casey enjoys journalism, playing 'the Sims' and trying new things, from foods to competitive sports, in fact, she was the Fear Factor Live! Champion at Universal Studios Orlando! Bring it on!
